Coronal brow lift is a procedure to lift the forehead. An incision is made in the scalp from ear to ear extending over the top of the head. The forehead tissues are elevated, and the muscle that causes a frown is often weakened. The eyebrows are elevated to give a more rounded shape, the upper eyelids are uncovered and look more alert. Horizontal forehead lines and frown lines are softened and reduced. The hairline may move back 1 to 2 cm. Recovery is around 2 weeks.
